Chabad of Poway Synagogue Shooter STOPPED by Border Patrol Agent

On the final day of Passover at 11:20 am, we had a shooting in Poway California which is nearby San Diego. Chabad of Poway Synagogue was attacked by a 19 year old male, he killed one woman and injured three others, one of them being the rabbi. He has been detained and it’s been reported that an off duty border patrol agent fired back at the shooter, the shooter was not hit but his vehicle was. The agent’s name is Jonathon Morales.

It is suspected that he left an eight page manifesto on an anonymous forum known as 8chan. In it he claims responsibility for an arson of a different synagogue nearby. Investigators are still looking into his social media and the manifesto.

***My opinion***

Thank goodness someone else was there with a firearm. Bad people will do bad things with whatever they have available. Guns are not meant to attack people, they are meant to defend people. This is why the Second Amendment is so important we do not let it go. Had that border patrolman not been at the synagogue with his weapon, a lot more people would’ve been killed. We need a way to keep guns out of the crazies hands, and keep them in the good guys hand. But until we can figure out the correct balance of that, we need to hope and the good guys keep defending those that can’t.

Sincerest THANK YOU to our great Border Patrol Agent who stopped the shooter at the Synagogue in Poway, California. He may have been off duty but his talents for Law Enforcement weren’t!

This probably isn’t related, but the New York Times put this picture out last week. Even though they apologized, who knows if this is a contributing factor to the recent rising antisemitism. These main stream media sources sure do seem to make a lot of “mistakes” in one direction.
