Don’t Go To Work in a Bad Mood

This sounds easy enough to avoid, but we all go to work after staying up too late, or partying to hard, or having a child that was sick or cranky through the night, or we let the supreme court nomination allegations bother us.  There are times, you are going to show up at your business and you will be in a bad mood.  I have THE perfect example today, why you should not go to work angry.

A little background about where I work.  My business is a small convenience store, we make about $1,000,000 a year.  We receive about 400 to 500 cases of product a week and we have a team of 5 people to do all this.  The store is also located in a village of less than 200 people, it’s tiny.  There is us, a gas station and a liquor store; no restaurants, no theaters, not even a bar.

This particular delivery I’ll be talking about was delivering about 350 cases and was scheduled to arrive at 6 pm.  This wasn’t anything unusual, however he arrived closer to 7 pm.  When he did arrive, I greeted him with a hand shake, and he greeted me with a, “Let’s get this f**king over with”.  Our unload process takes about an hour, so me and one of my guys gets started.  I hear the driver talking to someone on his phone, complaining about how its too late to be sent out here, and we are taking to long, he was pacing back and forth the entire time, basically just being a little bitch about his job.  I noticed he was in and out of his truck a lot while we were unloading, until… He locked himself out.  I’m sure the entire village heard him screaming and swearing when he realized this.  So he tried to call his maintenance department for his company, I can hear him give a bunch of information about his truck, then he waits… and waits.  At this point, we are already done unloading.  I hear him thank whoever he was on the phone with hangs up, then curses them out.  I ask him what’s whats going on, he explains that they can’t send anyone out here this late to unlock his truck, he will have to wait until the morning.  I offered to give him a ride up to the closest hotel, which is about 30 miles away, he declines, and we parted ways.  His truck was still in my parking lot when we opened the next morning.

So let’s break this down a little.  In his rage and complaining, he failed to notice he left his keys in his truck, which put him in a situation where he was stranded until the morning, a few hundred miles away from home (most of these drivers come from Indiana).  He must’ve slept in the trailer of the truck, which the temperature got into the low 50’s here.  I was talking to him when they arrived to unlock his truck, and it cost him nearly $200.

Now, am I 100% sure his bad mood caused all this?  No, but I doubt it helped in anyway.

Tech Companies Know Better Than You

Twitter, the final holdout of the big tech companies, has finally banned Alex Jones and Infowars.  But that isn’t what we are going to talk about today.  I want to discuss what they are really doing when they ban people like Alex Jones from their platforms – They know better than you.  It is truly silly to ban people from, especially, Twitter, because they have mute and block buttons already, why does the company have to go that extra mile and erase people?  It makes no sense when you think of the “publisher” or “platform” problem they may soon face.  if they are publishers, they are responsible for everything content creators make and push on their sites.  So if someone tried to sue Twitter for something Alex Jones does, than Twitter would have to take responsibility and cover him under their legal umbrella.  So, as a publisher, it would make sense if they ban Infowars.  But as a platform, which is what Facebook, YouTube and Twitter claim to be, they are not there to police people and anything they do they are not responsible for.  Which is the way it should be, but does that give them the right to ban Infowars?  Absolutely, but it’s a mistake, they will lose the trust of people if they police content they disagree with, instead of letting us use the tools they give us, to either elevate them or block them.  They do this, because they know better than you.  Free speech needs to stay alive, and the big tech companies need to stay neutral, or our internet as we know it, is gone.

Infowars may be banned from the large services, but you can still find them.  They have a bitchute channel, or just go to infowars.com

Twitter Hearing Retaliations

Twitter was meeting with congress about censors on it’s network.  They’ve been under a lot of heat recently for suppressing conservatives.  But that isn’t what we are here to talk about today.  During the hearing, this happened…

Am I crazy, or was this one of the worst ways to deal with a protester?  Drown out the protester by doing an auction?  One example is she can now claim sexual harassment for him trying to sell her, I hear this #MeToo thing is big.  Also the irony, this hearing was about Twitter shutting down conservative voices, and he shut her voice down with an auction?

The woman yelling is Laura Loomer.  Shes an undercover journalist who clearly isn’t shy about confronting people.  She also recently confronted Maxine Waters for inciting violence against Trump supporters.  She also happens to be another person labeled alt and far right, which drives me crazy because they are using these words for the singular purpose to label someone discredited, and not their true meaning.  Far right really means nothing, but “alt” right is directly coined by Richard Spencer.  I have not done the research myself on him, so I will not attribute any labels to him.  To me, to be considered alt-right, is something you would have to sign up for, or be a follower of Richard Spencer.

Since this incident at congress, it would appear that Twitter is taking a strange offensive tactic with Laura.

We have two very strange scenarios here.  Either Loomer is actively reporting articles and people that support her, or Twitter is reporting them… for her?  This seems like a strange way to retaliate since I don’t think Twitter tells people who reported them.  This is going to be a very interesting fight, and both scenarios are quite damning.

Propaganda is Everywhere

Vox.com is a “news” outlet. They are also propaganda, there are loads and loads of Vox debunking videos on YouTube. This is one of their latest propaganda

It’s so steeped in crap, they actually wrote a debunking article of a debunking video that debunks their original article. I’ve watched too many Ben Shapiro, Milo Yianopolis and Jordan Peterson videos to know that free speech on campus is dying. This is a long video, but it is worth the watch, and just by being online proves my point that they are just spewing propaganda.

Typically they move the speech somewhere that doesn’t fit many people and/or off campus. It’s depressing colleges are like this, they are supposed to be THE place to be to exchange ideas, but instead now they just pander and make “safe spaces”. Colleges are like a dead corpse, whats left at campuses are the hair and nails that keep growing.

Keep thinking for yourself, and be aware of the propaganda around you. It’s everywhere!

Conservative Social Media, Gab

A lot of criticism is being thrown at Twitter, Facebook and Google due to their recent supression of conservative voices. This is where Gab comes in, a place where “The storytellers will not be silenced”. They started in 2016, and recently hit the 600,000 user milestone, reaching for 700,000 soon. Google and Apple have already put their foots down on Gab, and will not allow their mobile app into their respective app stores. Per the nypost.com, Google has cited hate speech for their reason for not listing the app.

The largest criticism of Gab is that it is a place where Nazi’s and white supremacists gather and spread hate speech. But if you are a free thinker, you’ll notice these people don’t have anywhere else to go.  If they are pushed off one platform, they will go to another, or underground, and then their thoughts will fester and that’s how you get criminals.  Banning them isn’t the way to get rid of them, it’s the exchange of ideas and to convince them they’re ideas are terrible.  I’ve been on there for a couple weeks, and I have noticed a few people that think white people should reign supreme, but for the most part, its a bunch of people who want someone to talk about the things Trump is doing, and fighting back against anti-white Twitter.  I don’t care what the color of your skin is, it’s the content of your character that I care about.  I say anti-white because there are a lot of people, like @VerifiedHate, that screenshots “blue checks” from twitter that spew anti-white rhetoric.  Which for those keeping racists tabs, is a form of racism.  Even so, if you have any issues with anyone on there, you have full control to mute people to tailor your experience.  For the record, Twitter also has this feature, but with their “Quality Filter” most people don’t even get seen anymore.

Speaking of the Quality Filter, it was originally something you had to turn on, but at some point they thought it was SO GREAT that they decided to turn it on for everyone.  After turning mine off, I started seeing people again… WEIRD!  The screen shot below was taken from their blog.

Screenshot 2018-08-30 at 9.16.24 PM-01

Gab is absolutely dedicated to the idea of free speech, which is what I love about it. The problem for Gab seems to be the lack of influential people, such as celebrities, politicians or large companies such as Amazon or McDonald’s. It’s more of a place to mingle with everyday Joe’s like you and me, and again, if you find some disgusting person you cannot stand, mute them and poof, they are gone. There are a bunch of accounts like @RealTrumpTweets that mirrors the tweets of whoever that account is about.  So every time Trump tweets something, the @RealTrumpTweets account “Gabs” it.  Its unfortunate that the comments and criticism never reach the actual person though. Which could be a good thing, going to Trump’s comment section in Twitter is the most irritating thing you can do on there.

The last thing I want to point out about Gab is their frog logo. Is it me, or did they chose a frog on purpose because of Pepe the frog?  The accusation of them both being a thing for white supremacy seems a little too coincidental.  Pepe is not a symbol of white supremacy!

A Couple Ways CNN (and others) Can Heal Trust

CNN has a major problem on it’s hands.

poll

They aren’t trusted, especially among Republicans, and we all know the trust hasn’t gotten better since 2015.  How can CNN (or any other network for that matter, since it isn’t only a CNN problem) get their trust back?  We are going to discuss a couple issues, they can deal with to solve this trust problem.

Anonymous Sources

They need to stay out of reporting for anonymous sources.  I get staying anonymous is VERY important, but they don’t apply that to their opposition as well, as seen in the video above.  If you skipped the video, the context of it is, CNN reports on people that don’t want to be reported, and hides their “sources”.  Anonymity protects individuals, but that means there is no accountability for lies, and the double standard is strong.  Especially when you hear about them trying to get juror names and addresses.  I’d imagine if they gave their sources, and normal people like us could vet them with our own opinions, that would repair some of the damage they’ve caused.  Also, stop doxxing people!

Bias Masked as Neutral

bias

CNN claims they are unbiased.  The quickest google search can shows you that isn’t true, as seen in the picture above.  If you pay attention to politics, it isn’t hard to see who is and who isn’t politically charged.  Most main stream news outlets lean left, and CNN is no different.  Fox is the only main stream news network that has a right leaning.  Is being politically charged a bad thing?  No, the problem lies when you are either ignorant about your bias, or you are lying about it.  This can be the difference between fake news and not fake news, as you can see from the Project Veritas video below.

The solution to the bias problem is to just admit it.  Reach out to the public to let them know you have a bias and you then make a promise to TRY to remain neutral on as many publications as possible.  Then you can have all the opinion journalists you want on the air.

Stop being a “brain” for your audience, give the news, let them make up their minds.  Be honest and admit your bias and mistakes.  And for goodness sake, stop hating Trump 24/7, the guy isn’t Hitler.

Infowars Missing From Top Google Play?

What will happen when Infowars is banned from everything?

infowars

Huh, I guess I was right when I said banned things get more popular. Anyway, that isn’t the update to the Infowars purge. The newest update is that Google has now suppressed their app from appearing in the Top app. I didn’t realize Google didn’t know how to count…

infowars 3

Notice that the 3 is missing. Now if you search for the Infowars app, you can find it, and states it is number 2 in the News and Magazine category. Which may be confusing, but it was number 3 in ALL apps, and number 2 in News and Magazine.

infowars 2

As of getting ready to write this, Infowars appears to have been suppressed to the number 12 spot.

infowars 12

There you have it, Google Play is actively sabotaging apps due to their “views”. It is pretty damning to show how much they want to silent Infowars and Alex Jones. Media companies give Infowars a lot of credit for helping Trump get elected in 2016 (which they aren’t happy about), and it is quite a sight to see them suddenly ban him from nearly every platform right before an election. I don’t understand why they don’t see that banning a conspiracy theorist like this is not going to go well for them. Doesn’t school teach about the prohibition anymore?

UPDATE

I didn’t notice at first, but the number 10 app is missing as well.  Got me thinking that maybe this isn’t an Infowars thing.  It still could be, but then begs the question of what else isn’t showing, and why?
