I Understand Helping struggling Immigrants, but MY CITY (Los Angeles) ISNT TAKING CARE OF ITS OWN.WHAT ABOUT THE 50,000+ Citizens WHO LIVE ON THE STREETS.PPL WHO LIVE BELOW POVERTY LINE,& HUNGRY? If My State Can’t Take Care of Its Own(Many Are VETS)How Can it Take Care Of More
The second tweet came out after Donald Trump called out the Democrats bluff, and suggested he will bus deportees to sanctuary cities instead of deporting them. I’m not sure why she has such an issue with this, especially when you consider the story she shared just prior to that tweet. The White house has confirmed this is the plan…
“We’re looking to see if there are options that make it possible and doing it in a full and thorough and extensive review. The president likes the idea and Democrats have said they want these individuals in their communities. Let’s see if it works, and everybody gets a win out of it. Again, this isn’t the ideal situation. The ideal solution is real simple for Congress particularly Democrats in Congress to sit down with the president, do their jobs and help us stop this awful crisis that’s taking place at our border.”
White House Press Secretary – Sarah Huckabee Sanders – ABC’s “This Week”
There are some sanctuary Mayors excited about this, such as New York City Mayor Bill deBlasio and Oakland California Mayor Libby Schaaf. They can’t wait to bring the illegal immigrants into their cities. They probably already have printed extra SNAP food cards and Medicaid cards for them (Speculation).
Cher brings up a good point that the Mayors aren’t expressing publicly, how are they going to afford all these new people? Especially New York which is rumored to be bleeding rich people and tax revenue to Florida. Los Angeles already has ridiculously high homelessness and is home to the second largest illegal immigrant population in the US.
I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again, these people do need help, but at what point is it unsustainable? The answer is right now, it’s becoming unsustainable now.
